Proposal Process Masterclass

This course can be conducted online or in-person at your location. Your Proposal Manager is an important role in your organization. It is very important to provide them with the tools they need to be successful. Responding to RFPs is not a one-size-fits-all approach but you do need a defined process in order to elevate the stress of putting together a winning response. Proposal Managers should lead the proposal process.

During this training course, we provide you with the key steps you need to properly plan ahead, strategize, and begin forming a process. This course can be completed within 2 days with 30-minute session breaks.

Course Description and Learning Objectives
This course provides the fundamentals to be a successful proposal manager/coordinator, Inside Sales Manager, bid manager, a capture manager. We show you how to lead the process.

In this course you will learn:

  • Understand the roles, responsibilities, and key competencies of a Proposal Team - who does what!

  • Focus on developing client-focused solution-based content

  • How to develop a winning plan

  • How to develop a proposal plan/outline

  • Prepare an effective proposal kick-off strategy meeting

  • Prepare for and conduct an effective kickoff meeting, including providing clear instructions on what you need from Subject Matter Experts and Technical staff.

  • Schedule and prepare for team-colored proposal reviews.

  • How to develop a content reservoir with high-level reusable content

  • Relationship management — how to follow up with your client after your proposal has been submitted and determine the next steps. Sale Tip: 24/72 hours after submittal is a target.
